Lloyd Cotsen: the founding donor and initial visionary of the Initiative is also the benefactor of the Gennadius Library and the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. Mr. Cotsen is one of the most important benefactors of culture and education in California today.

and the less privileged members of society. Charles Williams: the excavator of Corinth and prominent Greek archaeologist, Charles Williams is the chairman and a benefactor of the American School of Classical Studies, as well as an avid supporter of Greek Archaeology in general.
Theodore Papalexopoulos: the former CEO general of Titan S.A., Theodore Papalexopoulos is one of the most generous supporters of Greek archaeology, having contributed to many archaeological programmes or excavations, such as the reconstruction of Nemea.
